Dell’Orto, a specialist manufacturer of engine components for motorcycles and automobiles, has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Arca Tecnologie.

The deal gives the family-owned company 53% of the innovative SME, which specialises in electronics for the industrial and automotive sectors and in hardware and software development.

More than just an acquisition, this move is seen as a strategic operation that will strengthen Dell’Orto’s expertise, expand its portfolio, and enhance its research and development activities.

At the same time, it aligns the company with the demands of a market increasingly dominated by innovative and environmentally friendly sustainable mobility solutions.

Andrea Dell’Orto, Executive Vice President of Dell’Orto, commented: ‘This acquisition represents another significant step for us towards building an integrated and sustainable value chain, where technology and methodology transfer play an increasingly crucial role. At the same time, it is our firm intention to enhance and continue the human and professional heritage that has made Arca Tecnologie – with whom we have collaborated since 2019 – an excellence in its sector. Preserving and developing this capital is an integral part of Dell’Orto’s «DNA». We are also confident that by combining our industrial expertise with the excellence in applied research and the dissemination of the innovations developed by Arca, we will be able to contribute significantly to the transition toward increasingly sustainable and technologically advanced mobility. Dell’Orto and Arca will, in fact, be able to offer clients a complete service that starts from hardware and software development, through validation and testing, and up to series supply – where Dell’Orto leads with its production presence in Europe, India and China’.

From Arca Tecnologie’s side, CEO Carlo Rossi spoke about the acquisition: ‘We welcome Dell’Orto’s entry into Arca Tecnologie, which allows us to continue and accelerate our growth path, always aimed at developing innovative solutions for sustainable mobility and the industrial world. The appreciation we have already earned from the market is evidenced by the entry of a company like Dell’Orto, so well-known and renowned on both the national and international scene. The agreement was reached after a long period of active collaboration, profitable for both companies. The synergy between Arca’s and Dell’Orto’s distinctive skills will allow us to face the challenges of a constantly evolving market with determination and confidence, and to fully seize the opportunities it offers. We will be able to offer our current and future customers increasingly integrated, innovative and competitive solutions, with a service that will cover all stages of product development. Not least, we believe this transaction will make the most of our combined experiences and offer all employees new prospects for professional and personal growth’.
